It’s the day before the Sabbath.
I think people will still be going to church, hugging and shaking hands, having faith that God will protect them. I also think that now is the time to attend Bedside Baptist church (aka online church). Given the nature of a church service (in terms of numbers and an ethos of encouraging close contact) I will probably choose the latter.
I’ve had meetings smaller than a regular church service cancelled in the last day so I don’t think it unwise or having a lack of faith to decide to stay home until this thing dies down. (I also think we need to balance necessary social isolation and social distancing with low-risk social gathering/contact — however you define the latter to be. There is no perfection in how you achieve this.)
